Overview

The PhD program in GeoInformation science that RSGISLAB will begin soon seeks to produce top-tier geospatial information scientists who are well-versed in both laboratory and field applications as well as cutting-edge research techniques. By promoting geo-computing, data storage, and data visualization, it aspires to produce research scientists who can apply and integrate geospatial information technologies into creative teaching, research, and activities to fulfill the developmental requirements of the globe in general and Ghana in particular. Additionally, the initiative aims to close the skills gap in academia and at the application for development with organizations and institutions like MMDAs, emergency response organizations, retail establishments, and public health services.
